It's a way to illustrate one's reaction to what another person has said. Like covering your face with your hands to either hide embarassment or having so much to say, one does not know where to start.

wow... thank you for that rather elaborate explanation o.o'
initially i figured it too be an.... 'attack' of sorts xD
like when the ladies in this forum go
*rape*
and
*hump*
and what not >.>''

I* hadn't really put much thought into it, but thanks for the clarification Koir, because I was thinking exactly the opposite. Thinking putting one's palm up before another person's face .... a rather rude gesture!

those are two major different categories in the culinary profession...
lol

I know they're different, but I just kind of group them together as "making food," lol.

If it involves making edible food, I enjoy doing it. However, I prefer cooking to baking.

lolz

*btw, for someone like me, sewing is a must...
can't afford too buy a new pair of jeans everytime an old pair rips, lolz....*

**freaking $60 USD a pair... =.= **

$60? where do you buy them? I only have to pay $10 each. Then of course I go to Target, and can get them from the girls section. Only problem is that they are not as skinny as I would like. not as form fitting. (sorry for OT)

I sew my pants up too when they rip.

I know.. I'm not male, so maybe I shouldn't post here?

It's nice to see that some guys do "ladies" work.

But, back on track ~ Not everyone can cook, nor do they have, these days.

... And one could easily live off of McDonalds or Pizza Hut. I'm sure a lot of Americans do already. XP

Not me. That stuff is not so good for your health. now it's either Arby's or Subway. and that's only about once a month.

@ yuuji...

you seriously can't fine the vacuum?

@ suki.... geez... go easy on yuuji... you did notice he put it in quotes right? meaning he doesn't consider it ladies work.
