I thought vampires are cultural ideas from negative impressions of Islam. Of course, during the Crusade. As we know, blood is not halal.

Oh for F*cks Sakes, Flippin' vampires again.
They're just people who are in serious need of vitamin D. get over it.

Vampire fetish... a growing subculture in parallel with goth.

ozkai 06-01-2009 03:16 AM

Vampires are not real. Just make believe.

However, could you imagine biting into someone's flesh to drink blood!

It's a lower level of loserdom, if such a thing were possible. They either need to "open up their hearts and let the sun shine in", or drown in the self-induced darkness of dysfunctional self-pity.

I'm Stalin.

See? It's easy to fabricate things.

All hail Stalin.

None of them. On the occasion I do read vampire novels, I gravitate towards Anne Rice and Frieda Warrington. They're very character driven, with gorgeous scenery and a firm grasp of the English language. Also a big fan of Laurell K. Hamilton, as she does a great job of blending together various supernatural elements.
