Isn't it more expensive to go to London than Japan.

And besides.......why not in America.

Besides.....

The title of this forum reads Japan.
So why does London....er Europe get the honors of hosting a meet when it should be done in Japan.

Then the forum should have been called Londonforum.

This is getting ridiculous.

For us Europeans it is easier to meet up in London. If you can't afford it then arrange your own meet-up somewhere you find convenient. The End.

Suki has the right of it.

Don't take this as some sort of insult towards people who live in Japan or America.

IF the people that live in America can't make it to Europe, then they are more than welcome to arrange one in the US.

IF people in Asia want to make a meet up in Japan, then you're all more than welcome to arrange one.

This is not an "official" meet up. It's a meet up between members.

Slykaz1 10-20-2008 08:02 PM

oh I see....so that's how it's gonna be.

clairebear 10-20-2008 08:02 PM

Uh, well Japan is further away [and more expensive? Idk..] so it would be MUCH easier for most people to get to London. Sure, it would be great if everyone could meet up in Japan but thats pretty unrealistic. If everyone on here could easily get to Japan, we all would've been at least once.

If you dont wanna go to London, then fine, have a meet-up somewhere in America and the Europeans will meet in London.

Would it make you feel better if we didn't meet at all because some people cannot agree on where it should be held? We're not saying " it is going to be London, and whoever can't make it to London doesn't stand a chance to ever meet anyone from this forum because it has to be London or else it cannot be done", Jesus. You can organize as many meet-ups as you want all across the States and the rest of us who canot join in will just be happy for you instead of trying not to make it work =/

Slykaz1 10-20-2008 08:23 PM

LOL...

I was being sarcastic....I understand....

It'd be great if could join.....

When.....I win the lottery I'll make sure to invite 10 people to go with me to the next meet. :D

If I had the freedom to travel, hell yes I'd be there (anywhere), but it's unlikely.
I've got studies coming up and everything; I've got a lot of work to do for the next couple of years - Summer included.

It does sound like a cool idea, though. Assuming people aren't predators. :p

It is far cheaper to come to London than Japan under general circumstances. Hotels and or places can be pretty cheap, and actually quite nice if you look around. I've been to London and stayed in a few London hotels, so I could say which ones I think are good and which are not so. Most people on here from the UK are already there or thereabouts as far as London is concerned, so that's why it'd be best there. And since London is the capital it's easier for people from Europe to come here. There are, as far as I know, way more American people here than there are us lot, so arranging your own meet-up wouldn't be difficult, although America is a lot bigger so you guys are more likely to be spread out more.

In any case, if you can't manage the costs then fair enough, but London is probably the most practical place for us Europeans :D

First, there's no way I would spend the money on going to London instead of
Japan : D If I had the money I would go there.
Second, depends on who would be going because . . . sometimes people aren't
really who they say they are . . .
