Stabbing rampage in Akihabara [Tokyo]: 7 people killed
After seeing JRockaddict's thread about Junko Furuta's murder I've been doing research on the crime in Japan, and wondered if anyone else knew that there was a massacre in Akihabara 7 months ago? I haven't seen this anywhere yet but I was surprised when I did. :( Seems like the whole world is losing their minds. It\'s sad...and disgusting. I feel so bad for the families of the victims that were killed at random for absolutely no reason.

yeah that sucked. i read it in a magazine around that time. but the incident brought everyone from the area together in a way. they left memorabilia and such for the people who were killed which was a nice thing.

Yeah, I read that people made a memorial the same day that this happened. That is really sweet. It also said that passersby stopped and tried to help the victims. If I had been there I would have done that too.

yea, there was a thread made on it in the news forum; Here
apparently the man was "mentally disturbed" |
Ohh, I\'m sorry. I still don\'t really know how to check if there has already been threads made for the things I post. Thank you. I just saw this today and it made me sad and angry so I wanted to post it.

Dude. D:
I feel bad for the victims\' families... Were there any... Condolences, or some kind of pension for the loss? Or is it just another death to the government? |
Look at the wikipedia link I posted a couple posts up.
