What do you think about politics?
Whether it be here or somewhere else, all around the world there are politcal problems. Where ever you live, what is it that's frustrating you? I live in America, and there are a whole lot of problems that need to get done here. It would be interesting to know what other problems are going on around the world.

I'm from Alaska, which is notorious for scandalous politicians...
Our Airport is named after someone who is in jail for accepting bribes. But as far as foreign politics, I'm pretty oblivious. |
I live in Sweden, and there's currently a big trial going on against the owners of PirateBay.org over here (torrent site). So far it seems the pirates are winning.
The Swedish government is passing laws allowing corporations to search the internet for people who download things illegally, get their contact information from their internet providers, and then sue them. 80% of the population is pro-piracy and against the new laws though, so chances are our current party is going to lose the next election if the laws are passed or aren't changed. |
Politics are both interesting and ungodly annoying especially when you have people from different countries who dont agree with each other.

I love politics, so interesting, it takes my interest from most other things. Sometimes Politics are comic relief ex: Jindals Republican response to Obama's non-state of the union address. Sorry but Im on of those people who can watch MSNBC for hours at a time and think its interesting.

Too many frustrations to mention. England is dying a slow ugly death

I love politics! I am was so sad that I couldn't vote during last year's US presidential election because I'm only 17! I watch political news all the time! That's about all I watch on TV!

Japanese politicians are completely ineffectual, and I swear, we have a different prime minister every week.
I can't vote here, but I do pay taxes, and believe me, I'm ready for the LDP to lose their coalition majority, assuming New Komeito can be sufficiently weakened. I actually don't really support the DPJ either, but my preferred party is the socialists, actually. I like their platform the best. Yes, I like politics. A lot. Spent two years working for the American Democratic Party. Voted Hillary in the primaries, Obama in the general. |
I completely agree with you iPhantom, srry, I haven't been online in a while. But this brings a good point...after you breech one privacy right, how far will it go after that?
btw...I LOVE your picture!! Isn't that Billie Joe Armstrong? If you like the whole story of Jesus of Suburbia, you should read my online novel based on it...I'll give you the name if you want...XP |
ugghhhh >.> politics, SUCK!!!!!!!! and its boring
|
it's boring, but it gives something to talk about.
I think I hear SephirothVVC comming into this conversation.....oh wait that is me. *cheeky smile* |

Quite frankly, I don't care about anything in politics outside of what the government does for us and the war...and the hopeful halt of this one and the prevention of others.
|
I have a love-hate relationship with Politics. Like a lot of people, I miss the days when I didn't have to worry about such complicated things... but, at my age, I'm almost expected to keep up with the current, Formal B.S. (as I like to think of it).

I like all politics, not only the German stuff. I am watching political commentary reports about the foreign countries for years. For example: Spain and the constructionmafia in the South, France and the dispute about headscarf, Japan and the Mangapresident, Belfast an the new conflicts, Taliban in Afghanistan, Finnish book-culture and so on... This isn't boring, it's interesting. The world spends so much diversity, why are most of the people uninterested???
About Germany: we have a female chancelar who is afraid of everything but won't give up the power and the real mighty instance is the paper... too many laws and bureaucraty... -.- |
