hi,,iv just red a very inspiring book,,(geishia of gion) and was hoping sombody could point me in the right direction to get it signed by the author(mineko iwasaki)whom i believe lives in kyoto,where i will be visiting.anyhelp would be appreciated..arigato

I'm glad you liked the book! I think it's a very informative book, but somewhat biased. She lived a very particular and special life, but it's very infrmative nonetheless. My suggestion would be to be able to ask in Japanese (I can't help you on that one lol),and I don't know where she lives. You could visit Kyoto Sights and Nights and see if Peter MacIntosh could help you out. I hope you enjoy Kyoto
