They never killed people without reasons. That is all I said.

Not only morals, but also for fear.

I think you are misunderstanding the definition of the word moral. I never said that they don't kill without reason. But many of their reasons are not moral in my opinion.

Samurais were warriors and therfore did battle/War/Fight

Ninjas were asassins who just Killed.

So the question is who would put the other away for good, the asassin or the warrior?? Logic tells me that if the ninja had beef with the samurai - he wouldnt go up and *challenge* him! he would just kill him, simple and logical.

And logically since Samurais only did battle and Ninjas were just assassins, this eventually means Ninjas were more dangerous than the former.

This is oversimplification of the issue not logical reasoning in any form.

@ Ronin4hire
Whom of the warriors of the ancient times should be proud, in your opinion?

Whom?

I'm not that well versed in the deeds of individual warriors. Or do you mean as a class? (Samurai, US marine, Hitler's SS etc.)

When speaking in terms of class of warriors... I admire none of them in particular therefore my answer would be none.

Are you against warfare in it's whole?

If it is not to gain territory or oppress other peoples, but to defend yourself, I for one, am not against warfare.

@ DSX: Do you really think a samurai was only trained in kendo...they we're well adapt at hand-to-hand combat, they even used spears and halberds when they could give an advantage over the sword...

Well that goes without saying. But to say I'm against warfare does not mean I'm a pacifist.

It means I'm against the use of force and the glorification of it.

In fiction and games, I tend to prefer ninjas. They are often given supernatural abilities and such. But I would rather be a samurai than a ninja in feudal Japan.
