Susan Boyle? Talent and Appearance
 

For those that havelnt heard of Susan Boyle yet, basically she is this Scottish woman who went on BRITAINS (WHOOP WHOOP) got talent and was ridiculed for her appearance before she sung and astounded the judges... to date she has had over 100 million hits on the internet from people all over the world including celebrities.

Basically hers is a story of dont judge a book by its cover and shames a society obsessed with beauty and good looks, this then begs the question - do you think she should stay as she is or should she now go and have a makeover and get all glammed up? and if she does will that not only fly against all that endeared her to the world in the first place ?

Also does japan have a got talent program? and what would be the reaction there to a susan boyle ? --- i dont know what japanese people think about celebrity in japan but we always see pictures of japanese people going mental at the sights of some western celebrities including the likes of david beckham - urgh !

I reckon if Adam Lambert gets a thread, Susan Boyle, from Britains got talent should have one.

I know for many people here, its not your kind of music or how people you listen to normally dress, but a little open minded ness does wonders.

Yes, she's overrated, and Yes she's a spawn of a reality show. But hey, She's got an amazing voice regardless.

I heard from some people that it was staged, but whether it was or not, it's still a great reminder that people's true beauty is inside! :o

When I first heard her I was astounded, she's a very good singer and I don't know why she hasn't done things before (or tried to) to get herself out there.

But it's been in the papers and on the news that they might not let her do the final due to an outburst, they don't want her having a breakdown on live TV.

I feel for her, everyone laughed at her and it's just gone from one extreme to the next, first they were mocking her, and now some people can't get enough of her. If the stories are true about her breakdown, it's no wonder because of how her life has changed so much in such a short time!

Outer or inner beauty... who cares ? She has an awesome voice :rolleyes:

I may b shallow. but if I see a singer they at least have to have some looks. X_X
