I actually don't really know how to answer this question but I'll try with what I know.
I think there are no lines seperating Moral and logical thinking like MMM said (at least what I think he means is) that there is a balance between both concepts depending on the situations at hand.

Yup yup sure do 2d,

Assumptions spread like wildfire I tell ya. People better off with out them.

I understand that you are talking about whether one should strictly keep all existing rules where the one is involved or not, right?

If my understanding is correct,

Moral: to keep strictly existing rules
Logical: to decide according to one's own judgement free from existing rules.

Are these correct?

I believe that as humans we have the responsibility to make the moral decision as well as logical but even though it would be logical to tear down a neighborhood to gain access to an otherwise un-obtainable oil reserve that would lets say run all of europe for 10 years. do you destroy their homes?

(this is fun) hehehe

Also, it seems like this is another example where the apparently logical decision and the apparently moral decision coincide. Logically, one would choose to save more people. Morally, one should choose to save more lives.

I believe that a decision based on "moral" grounds will more often than not arguably correspond with "logical" grounds.

good point. either way if you choose or not someones going to die. best to at least save a life. i might be selfish but i would save the person i know. what if it turned out to be a family member or something?

i have one with the same rules:

their are 3 doors. one have clairebear the other missmisa and the other is a bottomless pit for you. id choose the bottomless pit no hesitation, lol :vsign:
