You've never been to a Von's/Albertson's? They usually have books there that just don't make it, ironically alongside a few of those that are in every major bookseller's stores.

And yeah, Twilight was poorly written. The topic was cool and fine, but the execution was only sub-par.

Well, looking how things are going now a days you can even publish a book/Movie/CD that is as good as dog poo and it may still sell. I'm not saying the book is bad, since I never read it.

Clueless. Shit books are always published. It's all about the audiences and what they are willing to swallow, or what their boundaries of a "good book" and "bad book" are.
