Quite the choice..

I can either.

A. Go to an Alt school full of Juvinile Delinquants, dumb kids and prego girls.
And have my mind completely turned to mush by re-learning crap I already know or will never use in my life-time.

B. Get kicked out of my house next month the day I turn 17.

In either situation, I have to get a job considering that I have about $800-900 in fines to pay off.

Now, for a short amount of time I'm going to have to go back to this school because of the probation I'm likely to get..My Life Is A Mess.

bELyVIS 08-12-2009 01:05 AM

Going to school is a better choice. Just try to make the best of it and really try to get past just high school and go learn something that you're interested in that can become a career. Work part time to pay off your fines but try to find something that you love to do the rest of your life.

Quailboy 08-12-2009 01:10 AM

And yes, this is another "Quailboy Confessional Thread" xD

I think I'm just going to take it..deal with the crap and just get through the next two school years..

JustinATTACK 08-12-2009 01:14 AM

I would imagine that if you already know most of what they will teach, it should be fairly simple to get through the next two years, wouldn't it?

Sorry I'm homeschooled so I don't really know what school is like.

nobora 08-12-2009 01:20 AM

Im not too sure. I mean A seems like a reasonable answer. It seems easy enough since you already know it. But B will get you completely away and free T_T so im not too sure.Although i picked A in the poll.

freedom doesn't mean success, he might be better to finish school

yea but he could move out and go t school. freedom means more responsiblilites(spelled wrong >.<) though. So I recommend A but B is calling out to me too.

Any thread to your background story? I haven't followed your episodes carefully.

Well, what did you ask the question for if both answers were not plausible to begin with?

What, are you getting kicked out of mommys house if you don't go back to school?

mercedesjin 08-12-2009 02:19 AM

Is this... serious? Because, I don't know, a random forum on the Internet doesn't seem like the best place to ask for advice on life changing decisions. Do you have any support groups in real life?

LOL, support groups... you serious?

lol not that kind of support group. I meant like friends, a random aunt, teachers - people in his social life that can support him.

Not trying to judge or anything. :/ it just doesn't seem healthy to rely on the Internet for this kind of thing...

Nah, I got over all of my grudges. I finally realized that the Internet isn't worth that kind of energy. =) Kind of sucks I didn't realize that from the beginning, but whatevs.

I'm sorry about your dad and your mom... but no offense, but this kind of sounds like you're asking for attention on the Internet. It's not such a bad thing. I used to do the same thing when I was younger. I'm sure a lot of people do it. It's just that this seems like a pretty important, serious issue. You're young, and I wouldn't want you to make a choice based off of what a stranger on the Internet says, rather than thinking about what's the best choice for yourself.

I'm sure you don't give a shit about what I think, but hey - I said it anyway. Sorry.

I'm just seeing what other people think. Whats the harm in that? Like Tenchu, I'd like to say I know his personality decently and say if I can take something from his word or not.

I dont need attention from the internet..I get enough attention at home, obviously I'm getting some if I'm going to see my lawyer in 2 days.

Its not that I dont give a shit, its whether or not what you say has any real meaning, which most of the time is dosen't.

Pexster 08-12-2009 02:44 AM

I say Aye!

A

Anyways... I think you are too young to get kicked out.

Why do you want to know what strangers think?

I mean, it's one thing to ask strangers, "What should I read next?" or something like that. But this seems pretty serious.

There can be a lot of harm in it. There have been a lot of situations where people go online and try to make "friends," and then are manipulated and attacked physically, mentally, emotionally... Sorry, but I just don't trust the Internet. It's the perfect "place" for all of those strange men in trenchcoats holding candy. Except you can't see the trenchcoats or the candy.

Also - I don't know you, at all, so this is just speculation... but if you're having so many problems at home, then it's not a matter of whether all eyes are on you or not... People look for friends in strangers when they don't feel like they have that emotional stability most people need, because they're looking for that support group. So - again, this is just speculation - but it would make sense if you decided to come online to find that support and attention.

Pexster 08-12-2009 02:54 AM

I thought it was 18?

Anyways what grade are you going to be in?

It isn't that serious really..its an A or B thing. What if I was one strange men in a trench coat? Are you saying I'm trying to seek emotion help on the internet?

You don't think it's serious you're about to be kicked out?

You could be a strange man in a trenchcoat. That's why I'm not telling you about my personal life.

And... yeah. I am saying that. :/

Not really..I have friends I could stay with. Its no biggy, I dont really lose anything if I go to live with them. I gain a family.

This is true.

Isn't it rather absured(sp?) though?
I'm pretty sure that after dealing with what I have in my life I can handle my emotions.
