And it also says Japan Forum is an advertiser-- with the logo, etc.

It's weird that a forum with such strict rules would sponsor the very subjects they ban people from talking about.

From what I understand, to get more hits this site is a "sponsor" and advertises on a ton of random sites hosted by the same company.
That is just one of them.

As a mod I am given zero information about the business workings of JF.

That is very strange, I think.

I sorta dropped the ball on that one...

Thought it would be an interesting business venture to sponsore them :D

It just doesn't seem like the demographic we want around here.


Even though I discovered JF through either that site or another random advertisement (I don't recall)


But in that sites favor, it does have a "Whacky Japanese" video section.

Hits from gore enthusiasts? As I'm aware, this forum doesn't have a way to earn money by hits. Why would anyone need low quality hits?

Feel free to direct that to the Admin. I too would love to know how this site makes the money to stay up and advertise in magazines, etc.

Admin never reads the suggestion forum. Let alone this. However, he always magically appears when there is a server downtime.
