I agree. I think some words should only be used by those within a certain group. For example, I wouldn't call a Pole a Polak or a German a Kraut etc etc. They can use it on themselves but I find those terms to have derogatory overtones.

Thats what this thread boils down to. We don't wear the flag on our face less we insult kinder folks. Black people can't change their flag!
That is why black people are judged by their willingness to leave their flag at home and behave like everyone else who has left their flag at home.

When all flags and sigul's are left behind we can enjoy a good time with any enemy or friend. When the flag/sigul is carried around it can only provoke old sores in the most mild of people.

"I AM" is a shout best left in history unless you wish to follow it with "HUMAN".

It's also all about avoiding the pack mentality. I'd be comfortable travelling with a Scottish flag to footie matches abroad. We have a great rep for making friends abroad. However, we have domestic hooligans who represent us badly abroad and I wouldn't like to be lumped in with them. Aberdeen FC, my local team, are bad for that.

The flag is, at best, symbolic but it just wheels out inaccurate stereotypes and prejudices. We live in a world where you are often guilty by association (Americans travel with Canadian flags on their rucksacks as it's safer).

Pride is felt within and shouldn't be rubbed in the face of others. I keep my flag in my flat and it goes nowhere.

Many of the SAS are jocks and they are fricking good at it. This does not mean they love jockland less, just that jockland has no kick ass swat team to join.

In the same way, many black people have been removed from a tribal existance, this does not mean they love africa less, just that they can now join a group that lets them behave like they were born to (plz, I know that sounds racist but hear me out).

People are people, and Black people have evolved in a country that advocates a tribal stregnth over other local tribes. Many young africans were selected and bred for these reasons. This is how it was easy for western slavers to use this against the africans. It is all to easy to offer a quick and efficient way to wipe out a local warring tribe with the exclusive rights to any surviving assets in exchange for the means to achive this. These terms were gladly accepted and many africans were exchanged for guns and assistance in enslaving their fellow people.

Let us not forget that it was tribal segrigation in africa that promoted slavery to the west. The west took advantage of a situation that still exists in africa to this day.

In africa today, many young children are still sold into an internal slavery market that has little to do with the west.

There was a program on when I was in Gradac, Croatia. It was about a black African-American from Sierra Leone. He was good enough to put his hand in his own pocket to fund certain projects there. Many don't.

Aids is a genetic loophole into which a virus can manipulate the hardcode of DNA into relaxing the immune system. I have already proposed using the same mechanism to deliver anti-cancer systems into targeted cells some 15 years ago. Aids/Hiv is not new. It has only become famous due to genetic failures that allow it to propigate and evolve at a much faster rate.

Africa is a group of countries that hate eachother, much like europe. The big difference is that in Europe we had some massive wars and killing fields, we learned that even the biggest tribe will not win against a tribe of smart people pushed to the max. Africa could not learn this as its development was singular in that it was only nessesery to defeat or hold back your neighbours in a small territory. While in Europe the territory demanded the movement of large troops and heavy equipment along with the supplies needed to feed and fuel this venture. This was learned from greeks and romans and war became a very large affair. In africa at the same time, war was between small villages and groups and tended to be a spear/bow and stone throwing affair. When our cultures met, there was no way the african way of war could match what we had learned in europe.

This is the old way. And africa has paid the price, Its children still want to claim it as their heritage yet can never see the way to part with a hard earned buck to help.

The object of AIDS is to promote maximum spread and proliferation into as many gene types as it can. Many gene types offer no positive function to the growth of the virus and are halted. In receptive gene types the virus engauges with the DNA and will transmit this learned information into the next recipient.

If you are unfortunate enough to get an infected c0ck in your bottom then the chances of the virus getting your code are about 250:1 if you are of european decent and about 30:1 if you are african.

Well, I'm not gonna argue as I have clear info to the contrary but cannot reveal it. It doesn't really matter. What matters is that the cure is being withheld from those that need it. Certain people want Africans and Thais to die, in order to control their population growth.

Ok, You can't reveal it. But what are the basis of your understanding?
1. Is a human created infection.
2. It is targeted at specific gene types.
3. if the above is correct then why has it spread to other types.
4. If this infection has only been discovered by modern tech then what is to say this has not been ongoing for many generations.
5. for every bad drug there is a antidote (created by the makers), why is this ATD not known for AIDS
6. If this was a project then it failed due to lack of understanding of the human genome and public exposure.

Viruses have baffled even the best minds. Look at the work of Prof Hugh Pennington of Aberdeen University. Even he doesn't have all the answers. This ATD is known for AIDS but isn't being released.

From what I learned, it is completely unacceptable for anyone to call a black guy the "N-word", but ironically, it is OK for blacks to refer to as each other using that word. I've always found that weird.
As for the word "negro", it isn't as offensive as the previous racial slur, but is still considered insulting. The only racial terms for white people I don't like are the Cantonese term "gweilo" (ghost guy) and the Japanese term "gaijin" (outsider). They probably should not be taken seriously as the slurs for blacks mentioned above, but I would never be happy if a Hong Konger or Japanese called me by "gweilo" or "gaijin" respectively.

Good point. Somehow, through some seemingly inexplicable reason, a short form becomes an insult. For example, gaijin is a short form of gaikokujin. Is this an isolated incident? No! For example, the Japs rather than the Japanese or Pakis instead of Pakistanis. Short forms/contractions are not new so why should they have taken on this offensive quality? It doesn't add up to me but we have to play the game. Call a black guy a ni*ger at your peril!

Everyone, thanks for all of the opinions! I really enjoyed learning about people's opinions, thoughts, ideas, etc. Unfortunately, I think I've been spending too much time on here defending myself and my opinions... almost 5 hours a day now, it seems... whereas real life is waiting for me! I'm going to study abroad in Japan in a couple of weeks, and I really hope I don't spend 5+ hours a day on a forum while I'm there. x_x
