Its not just teens that are rude its more or less everyone, me personally i dont really care i just be 20x as rude back, i have actually followed morons to their front doors shouting abuse at them because they were rude to me first.

Very true. I don't have children, but am helping raise my nephews since the father is out of the picture. What is funny is if I am strict with them and my parents see it they get mad and tell me not to. I remind them that they were more strict with us and we came out good (no unwanted pregnancies, no jail time, polite to others, etc.). It's funny how parents get when they become grandparents.

It really is. I have a nephew and when I discipline him, my mother tells me to go easy. But she was strict with us when we were his age. LMAO. :)

Well, maybe because some parents could care less what their children do anymore. My neighbour got fed up with her teenage son that when he got caught by the police for stealing at the supermarket, she didn't bail him out. She didn't even bother finding out why he went missing for two whole weeks.

When I was very little my mum was very strict with me and my academic results. If I even dared to get a B, she'll cane me. But now when my younger brother gets a D, she was happy enough and even bought him a new bike for it. I think my mum spoilt him, that's why he became like what he was now. Rude and violent. He even called me a whore :mad: just because I enjoyed talking to my male friend.

But I think influences from their friends is to be blamed as well.

i think teens have always been rude , its just their vocabulary has grown since the 50's

Teens are like Clay .. You can manipulate them , but be cautious they can turn against you ..

it's not like i'm saying that they don't hae their own style and their own ideal but they need Family care ..
