Google Chrome and Japanese font
 

Anyone get it working in Chrome?

firefox and IE display everything properly, but chrome still isnt behaving properly, displaying little boxes, despite the different types of fonts i tried in the settings.

any ideas?

I am using Chrome right now and have never had a problem....that's strange.

View>Auto-detect maybe?
I've never used Chrome, but I have to do that in Firefox sometimes. Maybe it's similar in Chrome?

MMM: can you tell me what kind of encoding you've got selected? maybe i'm missing one.

darksyndrem: cheers but chrome doesnt have autodetect, not that i can see anyway.

"Auto detection" I would say is pretty close to "auto detect" ;)

I am looking at Yahoo Japan on "Unicode (UTF-8)" and have no squares.

hmmm so am i but i'm getting all squares.

must be something wrong with my machine then.
