US Regulation of Flavored Tobacco
University Chronicle - Tobacco laws to change in October
No More Flavored Cigarettes|ABC 13 Regulating flavored tobacco because it's more attractive to youths? Yet not banning the highest selling flavored cigarette, Menthols? In high school everyone I knew that smoked, smoked menthols, and no other flavored tobacco products. I think it's outrageous. If anything Obama should make it harder for youths to get cigarettes in general, not make even adults suffer. What do you think? |
I suspect that in time they will tell you when you can get up, what you can eat and when you have to go to bed.

I sense the driving age will be upped in the future as well. Really, 'Clove cigarettes represent less than 1% of cigarettes sold in the United States'. It's usually adults I know that smoke cloves. If only 1% of the population in the United States smokes them, then why ban them? It's rubbish. I don't like how this situation is so under the radar. |
Another Obama-bashing thread. Doesn't *Japan* Forum have enough of them already?
|
I for one don't even like cigarettes! But why exclude one brand or type if one is going to be readily available? They kids that prefer the flavored brand is just going to switch to the more available brand.
|
Not an Obama bashing thread at all.
It's a matter that will take in effect in less than a week. It's an open discussion, it has more to do with the principle of it than it does Obama. |

Owners of tobacco shops in my area are very upset due to the fact that they have to get rid of so much of their stock. I really don't think this action is going to help our economy at all. |
Fully agreed JayT, this isn't solving anything, he really should be focusing on things that matter, it almost seems like he is trying too hard to win the people over.

Something like this would not happen in Japan. I'm eager to hear what the rest of the members think about it. |
