Wouldn't It be cool if Jpforum...

We have some talented musicians on jpforum (= (some I've seen some I have not)

So I thought of an idea. Why don't the musicians of jpforum unite and make a youtube band?

We could all record videos or sound of us covering a Japanese song and then synchronize the videos?

I think that would be really cool!
(and it could have growing popularity for the forum (= )judgeing that i will most likely call the youtube page jpforumband)

I'm open to the idea
What do you guys think?

Well I've studied through guitar at college but it depends what you'd want me to do or how long it would take. I don't have great technical skill to a very high level as I have only passed my guitar grade 6 (grade 8 is the highest and 1 is the lowest).

I dunno.

Personally i'm open to anything.
but i'd like to do bands like Asian Kung-Fu Generation, Ellegarden. Dir En Grey, 9mm Parabellum Bullet. Gazette *maybe* and etc

That'd be pretty cool...but I think JF has a few musicians that don't play that kind of music....so maybe we could do the band thing, and have others that are only one member playing (maybe if they did their own track of drums, and played guitar with it orw/e)...that's just one other idea though....there's endless (kind of) possibilities that we could get with this

Also, one problem....We have plenty of guitarists and bassists...but I've never met any drummers or singers (as far as Jrock goes)

I play drums for 2 years now, tell me something you want and i might give it a try. (I also compose, im on an "instrumental band"... Really hard to find a good singer)

Doesnt hurt to give it a try :D

I still have to buy an HD camera X_X

Unfortunately I play a Fender Stratocaster so down tuning for that Dir En Grey type of stuff is not possible for me since I have it set up for E standard tuning.

I mix.

as in mixdown mix, not dj mixing, so yeah when you guys have recorded your parts i'll be happy to put the audio together.

Used to do a lot of music production (Hip-Hop mostly).....but now I'd rather go to Karoake and sing 70s Japanese and Chinese songs to impress my friends.
