I've got 5 piercings up my right ear, two on left. all but 2 done myself. got my belly pierced and gettin spider bites in 2 years :) I think i enjoy the pain

I can identify with that some, but be careful hitting solid objects with bare fists. There is well documented injury that boxer get even with the padding. The pinky finger gets injured, draws up and never heals quite right. Mine has been in traction and splints since April with the same symptoms, though it was not from punching anything. And those banged knuckles will haunt you later with painful and disfiguring osteoarthritis.

Not sure whose remark you are referring to, but if anything posted in this thread is TMI for you, you really should consider the whole topic to be more than you are interested in.

Discussions of S/M are by nature rather prone to disclosure of details some might not care to know - even when as restrained as this one will have to be, due to the venue.

Hmmm, "restrained".... no ones mentioned a liking for that.... yet.

You and Rin244 got on the subject of melted candle wax briefly. I prefer to be holding the candle, unless its a paraffin dip - those are nice ont he feet and hands at salons.

But pay close attention to the type of candle. Dripless candles are the majority of cheap tapers and the heat needed for them to drip is too high for this kind of playing. Don't ever use them for anything other than providing light. Someone once provided them for demonstration with me knowing it and my partner ended up with 2nd degree burns. The softer the wax, the less heat needed to melt it and the safer to play with. One other control that is obvious, but some people forget is that the farther the wax drips, the less heat it will have on impact.

Most people I know prefer the chest or back, to the arm. But logistics make the arm the easiest for experimenting.

The next challenge is how to remove it though.... especially if there is hair under the wax.

Check out ultraviolet wands. A bit better control of the voltage, and can really heat up a metal piercing.

Just keep all that electrical stuff below the waist. The only thing less fun that CPR is not getting CPR when needed.
