Reasons as to why a phone is necessary in life:
1. To talk to friends when they're far away.
2. To call for help when your life is threatened.
3. to joke around(do pranks, tell funny stories, etc.)
4. How about because IT'S JUST NEEDED!!!!!

how far away they r cuz i know people in the uk and so on...

Most of my friends and myself don't use our cell phones unless we have really important/exciting news to share.
