should one fear death?

I fear the process of dying more than the end of the equation. Being dead is fine, being alive and dying with no control is scary to me.

I think death is scary simply because no one really knows for sure what happens in the process. If we just knew what exactly happens, I'm sure some of the edge would be taken off. There are too many variables outside the control of the person that makes it so mysterious.

Define religious. Do I subscribe to a church? No. Do I have personal opinions and self developed interpretations of "the end". Yes. I've spent many years studying world religions. But, I don't deserve the title of a "religious man".

I believe my religion because it gives me hope and eases the fear of Death . . .Again, that's just me.

Yeah I wish I thought like that . . .I'm gonna do my best to do so!! I want to believe that it really is better to live a long life, so I guess I'll go through the long heavy storms until I find those rare things, those rare treasures, the rare moments.
