Webcams aren`t a big thing in Japan to begin with - you don`t see a lot of voice chat, let alone chat with video. So I think that a Japanese version would be a hard thing to pull off.

I notice on MIXI the majority of users do not include their picture on their avatars, where on Facebook, everyone does.
