Finally Summer is here.

I took my last final this morning so it is officially summer time for me!
I was just wondering what others were going to do this summer?

I will start I am trying to get enough friends together to car pool to harry potter land but otherwise I will just hang out play baseball, video games, swim, and go to work.
A perfect 3 months :)
ha

Not summer for us yet.
Shall be in June.

I'll probably be spending as much time with my family and bf as I can before I head off to college. (I'm going to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter as well. WOOT!)

JackIsLost 05-07-2010 10:46 PM

i bought a new handgun to plink with and i'll be staying in japan for 3 weeks early june :D

JasonTakeshi 05-07-2010 11:21 PM

In june.

Preparing for my trip.

manganimefan227 05-07-2010 11:21 PM

I'm going to Europe, hopefully I'll stop being so socially awkward >.> Then I'll work on this AMV project . . .

spicytuna 05-08-2010 12:43 AM

I just looked out the window and noticed that there's a snowstorm.

Caerula 05-08-2010 12:58 AM

Yeah, me also - this sucks. Now in May we should have at least 20 °C, but there´s only 0°C. But I spent some time in Rome last month, so I´ve enjoyed a little bit of sommertime-temperatures :o)
But here at home I´m still waiting.
Hey, but I´m going to France for three weeks in July. I´m really looking forward to it. Love the sea :)

seiki 05-09-2010 05:07 PM

I want to visit europe but it is costly. I had a chance to visit for a three week tour with my college's wind symphony for three weeks but it was $1,200. Which is a very good price but still more than I can afford. So I am just going to work on my little big planet levels.

manganimefan227 05-09-2010 07:22 PM

Good deal, Ha! My trip is 6,000 for almost the same amount of time! You BET that's a good deal!

Don't worry, next summer, I can get a job to pay my mom back.

Caerula 05-09-2010 07:42 PM

Haha and I´m saving up money for a four weeks Japan-Trip to study the language. I´m expecting financial expenditures around 4000-5000 €. So I have to wait, I guess about 1 but not ore than 2 years til I´ll have enough :)

manganimefan227 05-09-2010 09:27 PM

Best of luck ^_^

Caerula 05-09-2010 10:56 PM

Many Thanx :ywave:

hi am paris3198. Am new to JF.

seiki 05-10-2010 05:34 PM

Well hello. How will you spend your summer vacation if you have one?

Undertherose25 05-10-2010 07:36 PM

My husband and I are going to have a wedding ceremony with friends and family [we got married via Proxy while he's stationed in Texas], so I'm busy planning that for June 19, my husband also comes home in June from Tech Training so I have to go get him. We're also going to Disney World for a few days, St. Augustine for a weekend and then we're packing up and moving to Texas, where we'll buy a house and settle down...until the military uproots us and moves us somewhere else.

MonkeYMaideN 05-11-2010 01:15 AM

Congrats Undertherose25!

I officially graduate from high school on the 27th of May, which is also my B-day! OMG  OMG
June is my vacation time, and I'll work on my portfolio for SCAD (the college I'm applying to).
I'll start working & getting my driver's license in July, mostly because I want to become more independent before I start college (and I want to get a kitten, so I need money to care for it :p ).

And I'll be improving my Japanese during my spare time all throughout!

seiki 05-11-2010 01:29 AM

I did not get my drivers liscense until after I graduated as well. Right when I turned 18 ha.

MonkeYMaideN 05-11-2010 03:02 AM

Yeah, I decided to wait because I had no need for it while I was in school. Riding the bus was much more convenient for me.

Plus, since I don't have my license & I'm not 18 yet, my school can't penalize me for my unexcused absenses. :D

seiki 05-11-2010 01:08 PM

Yeah I was too lazy and poor. It is good to have but insurance is killer.

Hm, maybe.

Shurukian 05-14-2010 09:00 PM

I'll be moving from the East Coast to Nevada for the summer, to work. Hopefully I'll have fun. :P

manganimefan227 05-14-2010 10:18 PM

From Pennsylvania? Have fun :p
