There may not be many, but Japan is one of them.

There's a reasonable amount of weed up this way but this area is a bit of a haven for the hippy crowd.

That's like going to a tiny town in Italy to find a piece of sushi, or to China to find hamburger culture.

You would be spending hundreds of dollars and many hours to travel to a tiny town in the middle of Hokkaido just to find someone that would hopefully share weed with you? That seems like a lot of effort for a small payoff.

If you really can't go for two weeks without smoking out, it might be time to see a doctor.
