I don't find them funny either but its true that all comedies are written by english people, like The Simpsons, Scrubs, Family Guy, American Dad... Although I do find Family Guy funny... and the Simpsons

When you say "written by the English" that means written by someone from England.

The way it was phrased makes it sound like American TV shows are being written by people living in England. Obviously that is not true as they are mostly written by Americans. I'm sure some writers are form other parts of the world including England and Canada.

It still has ZERO to do with racism.

I think you mistook my sarcastic post with what katieb142 wrote in ignorance, it has more to do with other countries buying a lot of American shows and few non-American ones, sometimes they just buy the concept and make their own version of it (as with reality shows), I can't imagine a country that shows only American shows except perhabs in America ;)

Umm.. I'm confused. You mean American TVs is boring because the English (British) writing it? Eventhough many US population is of English ancestry, The USA is multi-cultural country so I believe it's not English descendants fault that TV is boring.
