SUICA/passmo maximum fare - 01-22-2011, 04:05 PM

I have tried looking around for this but can't find an answer.

When using SUICA type cards, if you make say more than 4 trips in a day, does it cap what you spent and then end up only charging you as much as say a day ticket (like after you spend Y1500 the rest of the travel is free)

or does it just keep charging the single fares, so you will actually spend more than if you bought day passes.

Thanks.

It will charge you for each use, regardless of how many times you use it in a day.

If you are going to be travelling enough for a day pass to be worth it, then get a day pass.

If anyone is trying to find me… Tamyuun on Instagram is probably the easiest.

thanks, this is what I thought but wanted to double check.
Pity you can't load passes onto SUICA, the system we have here for busses on electronic cards lets you put day or week passes onto the charge card.
