But what I am hearing in the Western media is that while the Japanese are saying things like only a 12 km radius or something is affected, the US is not letting it's Navy ships or military personel within a 50 km radius.

So there does seem to be an inconsistency with what the Japanese are saying and what other countries like the USA and Russia are saying.

Also the French are accusing the Japanese government of being really uninformative and either lacking direction or being too secretive.

Other countries are responding to the climate of fear their media have created. They are playing politics, pure and simple.

I don't agree completely. That might have something to do with it but if I remember correctly, part of the US decision was based upon one of their helicopter pilots having been affected by radiation who supposedly shouldn't have been.

i exactly know what i am talking about : we have had thernobyl ... a lot of dullheads here in this forum ... all underestimating the situation ... its really 5 minutes after 12 and millions will die in the next day, you`ll see .. the earth quake and tsunami is not the problem, this is done ... the real problem is the nuclear ... and today we heard in tv that the hole earth has eruption problems because of the situation in japan, the planet is drifted 10 cm in rotation and after this nuclear disaster with force of 400 atom bombs it could happen very bad bad things with our planet ... its instabil .... thats my fear .. the 35 million death in japan, half country for 1 million year complete empty of mankind, including tokio .. thats really unbelieveable but truth ... i am very realistic ...
and then i see on tv this 3 responsible persons of the atomic parc, completely unable and confused searching in papers and this man of the government who talks a lot nonsens and lying ... all that people do not ask concretely ... in europe this would not be possible, we would protest to get concret information at once ... this is all complete bullshit what they do there and every specialist of nuclear says this on tv .. look n-tv for example ... this persons there are not able of big thinking and therefore they will never solve this problem ... i wonder if they can get this positions in job ... thats really a wonder ...

the us marine is in front there ... a BIG BUUM needs a BIG BUUM ... this is my idea ... you need very quickly a lot of water ... what is the problem, the hole pazific is in front ... the us marine can shot the coast, exactly in direction of the buildings, peace of peace a canal .. and maybe they can shot unter the buiding at least and the nuclear things go down in the hole, completely in the water, under water ... this is quick and good solution ... later on you can fill it with sand and cement ... or you shot a hole beach there ... the nuclear things you will find later on because they made radiation .. and in the air you can produce water with silver, so the fall out goes down over this area with artificial rain and is controlled too ... the us are specialist for both ...
or another thing, you make a artificial tsunami ... fishing nets with bombs ... but you must take care because of the instabil situation at the ground, therefore fisher nets and not placed of the ground ... if someone read this and no a better place to show this solution in the net, so bring this there, but its my idea ... :ywave:

Whatever, I'm totally over worrying about what other countries and their people think anymore. More than ever now I wish I wasn't moving back to Australia! But we've already bought a house there and of course it was planned well before any of this crap happened. I just don't feel right about leaving during this time though :mad:
