I like that amidst natural disasters and wide-scale blackouts and mass confusion, the masses don't panic, they don't steal and rob and rape each other, they are organized, orderly, and respectful to each other. Few places can say that about their people as a whole.

And even the organized crime (Yakuza) helps in times of need. I didn't want to move to Japan or stay a long time there, just a visit and language gathering, but now, I'm almost becoming another "I wanna live In Japan" kinda dude.

PS: I have some problems with a few kanji, they appear like empty boxes @work, but @home they are ok. Same OS, same settings, same browser, same fonts and still something is weird. Maybe the proxy I am using to bypass the server @work has something to do with it?

I hear ya. I keep hearing the same stories concerning the Japanese conduct during these natural disasters and it's just awe inspiring.
