I notice this too and I'm a girl, so don't worry overmuch. With the sleep deprivation involved with being a parent it's probably easy to be extra almost too cautious and wary.

I also like to play with kids in trains and buses. Most mothers are very friendly here in Japan. My sister-in-law says that she has to stay with kids all the time, and she needs to feel rest even at a moment. Moms are tired:coldbear: I took my nephrew to zoo, too:)

That would actually be very nice, but you bring up another question I have. How do they feel about someone that is divorced? Well actually still going through a divorce which of course will be completed before I go over there.
