How should I approach this girl
 

Okay, so heres how it is. This shy girl and I are friends. I want to ask her out but she doesnt date till highschool. We just graduated and are soon going to HS. On the last day, I told her that I liked her and I asked her to go out with me. But I also mentioned to dont tell me until next year. In case she forgets, I plan on asking her again on the first day of HS. Do you think I should ask her in any certain way(remember shes shy just a tiny bit and understanding)?

Why would you tell her to wait?

I really think you should just get in there and ask her out before someone else beats you to it. Just say something like "I like you a lot, and I think you're very sweet and cute, and I would enjoy it if you'd go on a date with me".

Start small, don't scare her off.
