Technical Difficulties

Hi everyone!

I feel a bit embarrased asking this, but I need some help using this website.

How do I get the computer to let me know when someone has responded to one of my posts? Is there a button I can press in order to get an e-mail reminder? A certain setting? Or perhaps a place where I can view my previous posts? Thank you all for you help! :)

Click on yourself, then "Find all posts by user"

When you click on 'New Reply,' look below where you write your replies to where it says 'Additional Options.'

There you'll see 'Thread Subscription' with a drop down box where you can choose 'Notification Type.'

Choose which you like, and when you submit your reply you're all set. :D

If you want to subscribe to a thread you haven't replied in, at the very top of the thread you'll see 'Thread Tools.' Click it, then click 'Subscribe to this Thread,' then choose how you want it from the drop down box and finally click 'Add Subscription.'

Hi StrandedAlien,

Don't ever be embarassed about a question. I bet heaps of people have read this and though "Eeeehhh? I didn't know you could do that!"

And if anyone does ever abuse you for asking something, they are the ones who don't deserve to be here, not you.

Thanks everyone for the responses!

@Tenmins: Thanks, I've actually never gotten abuse for asking for advice. I thought I had read that asking for help in Japan is considered a "shame", and I thought that it would be polite to act more apologetic.
