a friend in japan sent these to me, and they are awesome for relieving muscle aches and pain.
however i have no idea what they're called, or where to find them here

Adofiido （or アドフィード).
It's an anti-inflammatory medicine with the active ingredient flurbiprofen. Taking anti-inflammatory drugs other than aspirin run a higher chance of having heart attacks and or strokes. Because this is a patch, I'm not sure of the effects.

The Japanese prudct name is Adofiido but that obviously will not get through outside of the country. To find a similar product in your country, go ask a pharmacist to recommend a packing sheet/compress that contains Flurbiprofen, which is the single most important component of Adofiido. Some countries might require a prescription to purchase these products.
