Hotel In Hakone
 

Can anyone recommend a decent hotel in a convenient location in Hakone? Not necessarily with spa as will be out for most of the day.

Volcano activity in Hakone area is getting more active these days. Some part of hiking course are closed (3km area from OWAKU-DANI).

Please be careful for the volcano information though eruption is not expected.

Btw., are you aware of any good hotel in Hakone? No spa needed but need a private bathroom, because friends told me there are hotels with public bathrooms only.

I think most of the hotels in Hakone would have both private and public bath (as I experienced, I'm not sure for all hotels in Hakone).
