From Tokyo to ????
 

My initial plan is to spend 2 days (3 nights) in Hakone after coming to Tokyo in mid June. Just learnt there could be volcano activities in Hakone. Can someone recommend any other interesting places that I should go (instead of Hakone) in the middle of my visit to Tokyo? Thank you.

Instead of Hakone, you can try Atami, which is also well known for it's scenery and hot springs. It's a little further off from Tokyo than Hakone, bit definitely worth trying.
