For me it's Jet Li, 110%

Compared to Chan, Li is a much more focused person, and to me, it seems he takes his fights more seriously.

Yeah a lot of Chan's stunts seem to overcast Li's but I never cared for Chan's style of fighting. When I see one of his films, and he gets in a fight he is always trying to "run away" and his fighting always seems desperate.

Li is more head on. He fights all his battles face to face and doesn't try to flee. Besides I don't really care of a comical martial artist.

I liked Chan a lot more in his old stuff. He was really impressive. In the movies that have been coming out as of late, (the 90's and higher) Li takes the cake.

SCREW YOU GUYS!! Jackie Chan is and will always be the best martial artist in my book. FYI, Jet Li also starred in some hilarious movies too. He doesn't do as much stunts as Chan does and that doesn't go right with me. JC is willing to put himself in harm's way just to get a move down. Not JL. YOU GUYS SUCK!!! LOL. :mtongue:

Chan is smart because he doesn't try to make those Dragon Ball style moves serious, and his fights are really hilarious, what for me is more interesting than the fights themselves.

Jet Li looks arrogant trying to be godlike, flying and kicking the arses of everybody who crosses his way, he isn't charismatic if you ask me...

THANK YOU!! Someone finally sympathizes with me! Thank you, my brother. LOL. :)

Maybe this has already been said, but I doubt it....so I"m going to say it without reading through 11 pages....

The fact is, Jackie Chan and Jet Li, cannot be put up like this....Jackie Chan is a stunt artist, Jet Li is a Martial Artist. Jackie Chan really is the greatest stunt artist I've seen....if you haven't, watch is OLD movies, when he was a lot younger, acting is awful, but the stunts are SO MUCH better. As for Jet Li....well he's great too lol

I like Jackie in funny movies but I like Jet Li better in fighting movies.

Jackie Chan for stunts and humor. Jet Li for action. They are both good. Specially when they work together.

Pexster 07-15-2009 11:58 PM

Yes, Jet Li I think is the bloody real thing.

For me Jet Li, Jackie Chan is cheesy and not really funny actually.
