For me to decide which of them to watch would have to be based on something more than either actor, like which subject I was more in the mood for or type of story. I will not choose one over the other, and try never to miss any of their works.
But I have been a fan of Jackie longer, because his career has spanned a long time and I was watching those older films as his career began to take off. I also know more of the man out from behind the camera, and respect him for his other interests as well. |
Jackie Chan is awesome and Jet Li looks cool too.
I favourite Jackie Chan's movies are Police Story, Rush Hour and Thunderbolt. |
Jackie Chan! Its just because I've watched him since I was a little kid......

Can't we all just agree that they both are semi-decent, but the only person who could possibbly be called great for martial arts movies is Bruce Lee?

well...hard....but I think jackie chan is better...I think he's funnier..I really love his movies but jet li is great too^^
|
Well, I'm a big Jackie Chan fan but Jet Li is awesome too. Jackie can be funny and serious in his movies, he can do alot of things, from singing to being a dramatic actor, he just doesnt limit himself on action movies. Jet Li is more on the serious side of acting, and he fits better in ancient themed movies and sci fi movies too.

Kung fu wise they have to be equal. Look at The Forbidden Kingdom. It was a draw between them.
Well, Jackie does more with his career, but Jet Li does a lot of serious epics... When it comes to the ultimate battle, the world will cease to exist due to the large amounts of ass kickery epicness at hand. |
I personally can't pick between the two. I think Jet Li is more attractive, but that doesn't say too much. They're both incredible actors and martial artists. :)
