Jim Carrey can't act. He can't play different characters, he can only be Jim Carrey. He's too over-the-top all the time and ruins more serious films like the Batman movie and the Truman show.

:confused: :confused: you are a very confused person. go watch "the number 23" he was not just "jim carrey" in that. he played that role perfectly.

same with Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. (though this film is rather confusing) he wasn't the hyper usual carrey

CARREY RULES... he's hilarious and a GOOD actor

lol what are you talking about. Have you seen Eternal Sunshinse of the Spotless mind or any other serious sortof movie he's done? How can you say "he can't act". That is total ignorance talking. (wrote this b4 I saw Noodles reply) And how can you say the Truman show was ruined? That is an awesome film. I don't care for Batman much either but his role was the best one in that crappy movie. I guess its just a matter of opinion.

Eternal Sunshine is one of my favourite movies of all time. Noodle you should watch it again :p Its simple. His girlfriend tries to remove him from her mind on impulse. He gets pissed off and does the same. While the procedure is going on, he goes through all the memories of her in his mind and we see him fall in love with her again.
I dunno.. I can't stress how much this movie effected me when I saw it lol.
And his best comedy in my opinion is Ace Ventura 2. I love it TOO DAMN MUCH :D
I wouldn't say he was the BEST ACTOR EVER but then I don't have just one favourite, so he's one of my favourites :D

ivi0nk3y, you're right i need to watch that film again. I remember watching it in cinema with a bunch of people. we all got confused a little. i guess the fact that we were talking from time to time didn't... none the less. i feel a little stupid now, so i'm gonna go watch it again and make sure i understand. lol:D
