NEC, Renesas postpone signing merger deal - Telecompaper NEC Electronics and Renesas Technology have postponed signing an agreement for a merger. In April, NEC Electronics started talks with Renesas, the semiconductor joint venture of Hitachi and Mitsubishi Electric.
