I would talk to an adisor our counselor at your school. Someone there should know that information, and if your school as established relationships with a school in Japan.
Let me say this much. Unless your Japanese is really good, I think it might be a, franky, difficult and maybe depressing experience. Japanese high school is VERY different from American high school. Personally, I would recommend looking at a college exchange program where you could be taking classes in English.
I have hosted exchange programs for 3 week trips, and after a day and a half of classes in Japanese (with American students who had studied Japanese 2 to 4 years) they had enough of Japanese high school classes.
Student-teacher interaction in minimal in class. Most classes are taught like lectures.
thank you for the advise.....have to say that i steal want to go but i will take what you've told me into account
Of course you do. If you find something make sure you aren't going to be just sitting staring at a wall for 7 hours a day in classes you don't understand. There are all kinds of programs, I bet.
