Japan trip itinerary (advice needed)

ok, panic time =_= I've decided to drop the Seishun 18 kippu and will be using night bus to travel from Tokyo to Kyoto. So now I don't know how I'm going to move around in Kyoto (Himeji and Nara is still in the plan).

I wanted to get JR West rail pass since I could check the schedule from Hyperdia, but review says Surutto Kansai cover more network (including bus). The problem is, the surutto website doesn't have much details regarding schedule etc. x_X

Anyone have experience using Surutto Kansai before or JR West pass before?
Can Suica card be used in Kansai ?
