Kansai International Airport -> Minoh Campus for international students
 

I havent been on the forums for quite an extended period of time, but a very few of you may have heard that i've been given a scholarship by the japanese government and will be studying in Osaka (starting from 1st April)

In past days, the scholarship would send representatives to the airport to pick you up and take you to your campus upon your arrival, but this year they are starting to cut costs a but, and ill have to find my own way to campus

Im just posting this thread to ask, if theres anyone whos familiar with the Osaka areas, if they can give me some advice and/or directions on how to get from Kansai international airport to Osaka university's 'Minoh Campus for international students'

Also, if theres any decent hotels close to the airport or between the airport and Osaka University, as im scheduled to arrive at the airport at about 6.30pm japanese time, and if there happens to be a major delay i should be prepared, shouldnt it =]

I don't know where "Minoh Campus" is, but there are trains and buses from Kansai Int. into Osaka.

can you briefly tell me the quickest way i can get to osaka university from kansai int. airport? >.< minoh campus should be fairly close to osaka university so yeah =X

personally ive not been to osaka university or its minoo campus but ive been to minoo :D

anyway, from the airport you can either take the train or the bus and get off at osaka/umeda station.
personally i would recommend to take the bus and get off at Hankyu Hotel in Umeda/Osaka, from there its just 2-3 minutes to the Hankyu train which you will be using to get to kita-senri station ( the nearest station to your campus) .

if you ever decide to take the limousine bus from the airport, take note that there are 2 Hankyu Hotel in Umeda/Osaka: Hankyu Hotel and Hankyu International Hotel. Both are in Osaka/Umeda though, but the first is the nearest to the station.
