1minute to gotanda station puts that in a very good location for easy-access all over Tokyo

Is this location
New City Hotel
TOKYO, JP ,TOKYO CITY HALL 1 BLOCK
4-31-1 Nishi Shinjuku Shinju
TOKYO JP 160-0023

better than this:

HOTEL SIENA
2-22-1 KABUKI-CHO, SHINJUKU, TOKYO 160-0021, JAPAN

or this:

Tokyu Stay Gotanda

I just try to sort this out.. Because some of you mentioned that Kabuki-Cho is dodgy. What other Areas in Shinjuku are dodgy? Is Nishi ok?
