Japan visit....help

I might go to Japan in the summer and i wasn't really sure where to go

so i was wondering if anyone has suggestion on which places are good to visit....
i've never been in Japan before so im really unsure on where to go??

umm, there are many places to go and enjoy.. it all depends on how touristy/cookie cutter do you want to make your trip out to be.

Google is your friend

for a first timer, if you're going alone and do not have that great grasp of the language you might want to stay at those touristy places cos most people there will speak english. but, japanese are really friendly people and will try to assist you no matter what. try researching some things that seem interesting to YOU. don't have others decide your trip for you :P

just a warning, summer is insanely hot and humid

WHERE in Japan? its not a petting zoo, so more information on your interest and planned destination will help
