transportation/taxi?
 

I arrive at the Akita airport (AXT) after 21:00 Sunday night September 28. I have reservations at the Akita hostel. Can anyone suggest transportation other than by taxi? or estimate probably cost of taxi from airport to hostel?

You can take a bus from Akita Airport to Akitaeki-mae (which means "In front of Akita Station") then get on the bus it says in the first link from Akita station to the hostel.

I found the YH named "Akita-Youth-Pal"

access:from JR akita station, take bus( "Terauchi-keiyu Tuchizaki line" or"Michimachi(?)-keiyu shogun-no line" for 20 min.) and get off at "Akitaken seishou-nen kou-ryu center" busstop, then walk for 5min.

If you take airport bus to Akita city, you d better get off at "Kencho,Shiyakusyo mae";on the way from Akita station to "Akita-ken seishou-nen kou-ryu center" busstop
