Japan Rail Pass -Need Advice

Hi -I am travelling to Japan in November. Very excited. Just need to know if anyone know about buying the Japan Rail pass here in the UK. there are many sites, but so you know if this is legit as it is much much cheaper. Japan Rail Pass: Worldwide Train Passes & Tickets it is £228 rather than the normal £264 for 14 days. Is there any site cheaper or is this it. Thanks.:)

i don't know about that website in particular but price differentiation is often due to the falling or climbing Yen. Some websites will reflect the currency changes more frequently and accurately then others resulting in some better/worse prices available.

I use HIS (a Japanese travel agency located in London). Their prices are usually reasonable, and they are reputable (I've used them many times).

Their number is 020-7484-3310

You can also purchase a ticket through JAL (Japan Airlines) at 0845-7-747-700

I agree with Sangetsu,

HIS are reliable and well known - you'll be able to use them during your stay if you need to book any other tours etc.
