Considerations for a Puerto Rican
 

I am heavily interested in acquiring Japanese citizenship, and i have these qualitations:


1. Over 18 and under 21 of age
2. I have US$20,000 in checking and none in savings, also, US$300 in notes
3. Acquired High School education
4. Own a Cat. 3 Driving licence and a IDP(International driving permit) of 3 years
5. Citizen of the United States and Puerto Rico
6. I live without parents/legal guardian
7. Not employed for any reason


I need any suggestions for acquiring citizenship out there, cuz i'm willing to live for the next 40 visa renovations of 3 months each

As MMM pointed out, the major thing here is the work experience and the education. Go read over the thread on "Graduate College....."

Who told you that you can renew a tourist visa 40 times consecutively? Obviously no one who has ever been to Japan. It's not easy to get a tourist visa renewed even once, and even if you could renew it over and over again, $20k is not going to pay for 40 round trips to America. You won't be able to earn any money while you are here because you are not permitted to work with a tourist visa.

As for truck driving skills, those are not important here. I have a class A license from America will all endorsements, but I can't even exchange that in Japan for a regular car/moped license.

You have $20k in savings, you are a high school graduate, and you are 20 years old now. Why aren't you in college? You shouldn't even be considering a future life without attending college and getting a degree. What's stopping you?

Getting citizenship in Japan is harder than in many other countries. Japan has educational and financial requirements which all foreigners who live and work in Japan must meet, and unfortunately you don't meet any, let alone all of them.

I don't mean to rain on your parade, but unless you finish college, your chances of becoming a Japanese citizen (even if you marry a Japanese national) are extremely remote.

Really? I thought by marrying japanese, you become a permanent resident.. but then i guess we have covered this topic before.. permanent residency != citizenship

It's not automatic. You get a spouse visa which must be renewed annually like a work visa. After 5 or more years of marriage (YMMV, for some people it's taken more than a decade) you can apply for and receive permanent residency.
