Going to Japan this summer
 

Hello everyone, I am going to Japan again this summer ^^ so happy. I will stay in Tokyo 2 weeks with friends (I know Tokyo sooo typical but I really wanted to stay there because last time I didn’t stay in Tokyo sooo that’s kind of why and I love big cities:mtongue: ) Anyway, after the 2 weeks I will part from my friends because they are going one month in south East Asia I am not going with them because I have already done the trip in the past and it doesn’t interest me in doing it again. But I wanted to stay few more days in Japan alone (and I am 20 years old women and I have never traveled alone before) and I wanted to know witch city do you recommend me between:
1. Kawagoe (this is my first choice but the problem is I didn’t find any hostels on the net :( )
2. Yokohama (I know I love big cities)
3. Shimoda
4. Hakone
5. Peninsula Izu
If you have any suggestion of other cities please tell me
Last thing is I might stay In Narita few days should I or not

Of those cities, I have only been to Yokohama, but I like Yokohama a lot...probably more than Tokyo.

yea i've only been to Yokohama out of those cities, its aite. I still like Tokyo better =D

I will be traveling to Japan this fall for a second time and of the cities you listed Hakone is on our itinerary this time around. From my research it sounds like a blast.

Yokohama is my home town so I can show you around if you want.

But Yokohama is just like 30 minutes away from Shibuya, so you can go to Yokohama in your stay in Tokyo.

and you don't need to stay in Narita. From Yokohama station, you can go to Narita by bus or train. It will take like 2 hours.
