Im going to Nagoya in May what are some good festivals?

I am going to spend a month in Nagoya in May and wondered if there were any interesting events going on that anybody could suggest, I will also be visting Kyoto as well!

Events, Festivals, general sight seeing anything! give me a few ideas i would love to hear them!

Go to Nara and see the Daibustu and Nara Kooen.
