Guide for the Gearheads

This is to help out all the petrol-heads. Because some of us are not looking for animemangacosplaypockyomg! when planing a trip to Japan. Came across these links to help my own trip to Japan. Shooting for the Tokyo Auto Salon next year.

Learned some great info through these guides, especially the stuff on addresses and Tuners. Hope this helps some people. Oh and mad respect to the people at JNC for the write up.

I hope this brings some good car info to this forum. I did a search and didn't see much about cars which is kinda a shame seeing as japan has a rich car culture.

What are you guys looking for in particular? Just cars in general? Car mods?

One thing i would like to see is some talks and pictures of non export models in japan. There are a handful of cars that are available to domestic Japanese market only

Im a classic car guy myself, give me a s30 or a ta22 celica and ill be happy. Would love to see some JDM models talked about as well. There are some great Japanese cars like the Nissan Staega, the Toyota Chaser and the always popular Nissan Skylines just to name a few. Though i think a few of those may have been exported to Australia or Canada. But yeah this forum needs some more car talk.

Those are also great cars. The 2000GT had such great lines. It was simple yet beautiful just like the Jaguar E-types it was inspired by. Lots of cars these days just dont have that charm that these cars had. It has been nice to see some of those retro designs come back like the 370z and the Camaro.
