Working Holiday in UK for Japanese?

Hi,

I have a Japanese friend who is hopefully coming to the UK in the New Year with a Working Holiday Visa which allows you to work/stay in the UK for up to 2yrs.

I just wondered if anyone has done this or knows someone who has done this previously (...possibly under the previous system of the Youth Exchange Scheme)?

Given the current climate i know its going to be hard to find work anyway, but wanted to know if anyone found it particularly difficult due to the fact it would be with a Working Hol Visa.

Any comments, thoughts or experiences appreciated!
