Hakone Free Pass validity
 

Hi all,
Quick question about the Hakone Free pass. We will be buying a 3 day pass late in the afternoon when we arrive in Odawara. The websites all say it is valid for 3 days - but my question is this...

Is it valid for 3 full days from the time you buy it eg: 3 x 24 hours, hence expiring on the 3rd afternoon at the same time as when I purchaed it,
or
is it valid for 3 calendar days, so even though I buy it in the late afternoon that still counts as my first day?

I hope this makes sense.

It's for three calendar days, not 3 X 24 hours.
